What to Expect

What to Expect When You Visit

Whether this is your first time stepping into a small-town church or you’re returning to the kind of congregation you grew up in, we want you to feel completely at home the moment you walk through our doors.

A Place That Feels Like Home

Our church building carries the charm and character of a bygone era — and we love it that way. When you step inside, you may feel as though you’ve traveled back in time some 70 years, surrounded by the warmth and simplicity of a classic rural Minnesota church. It’s the kind of place that feels lived-in, loved, and full of history.

Come as You Are

You’ll find us to be a wonderfully varied congregation. Some of our members enjoy dressing up in their Sunday best, while others arrive comfortably in jeans and t-shirts. There is no dress code here — only a genuine welcome, no matter what you’re wearing.

A Comfortable Place to Worship

Our sanctuary offers both soft traditional pews and comfortable cushioned chairs, so you can find a spot that suits you. We are also proud to be accessible to everyone, with a wheelchair ramp available for those who need it.

Familiar Songs, Timeless Worship

Music is a cherished part of our Sunday gatherings. Most weeks you’ll find us singing the beloved traditional hymns that have carried the faithful for generations. On occasion, we also incorporate newer contemporary worship songs, displayed on our overhead screen along with scripture verses and images that help bring the message to life.

Warm, Welcoming People

Perhaps the greatest thing you’ll find here is the people. Our congregation is full of gracious, friendly families who love to visit and make newcomers feel like they’ve known you for years. Don’t be surprised if someone strikes up a conversation before the service or invites you to stay and chat afterward — that’s just who we are.

We’d love to have you join us. Come see what a small-town church family is all about.
